KBox/ JB Thai Massage

A few of us gathered on a Friday night for KBox after suppering at BoonLay Market. This was the kbox deco at Jurong Safra which is located near the BoonLay MRT. They tried to create the very old-school feel with the deco. The room was quite large for the 5 of us and I didn't know that KBox technology now is so advanced. There were buttons for you to push for applause and the karaoake room at Bugis also had strobe light effects. Was quite irritated with the fact that there wasn't a remote control though, we had to keep going back to the buttons on the wall which was quite a hassle.

The kbox experience was expensive that night, $35 per pax maybe - it being a friday night. I think we managed to sing till 4am though, sang till our throats turn sore. haha.

We also went in to JB a few weeks ago for supper and for some night life adventure because Kel complained that Singapore was very boring.

This was our favourite Pontian Mee hangout place. also because that street has lots of random food at night. They used to have a sweet potato porridge restaurant at the end of the street but we found out 2 months ago that it has already closed down! Jesse and I were very sad ):

Kel had friends from Melbourne that stayed in JB so they led us to this massage parlour located pretty near our supper place. It looked very sleazy from the outside, with the red lights and all, but it was actually very nicely decorated inside!

They even had a platform whereby you can view fish swimming below. How posh is that! They also had family packages (haha). We all opted for the full body 60min thai massage. It costed around S$20 which was pretty reasonable in terms of Singapore standard pricing for massage.

This was their sink. I really like the design of it.

Next up is to find the seafood place that everyone has been talking about the next time we go back in. The next time will probably be when J is back from exchange though.. Am jealous that he's living like a king right there now - ordering room service and all. Can't wait till I go to Shanghai in December!
