Charlie Brown Cafe

We gave the Charlie Brown Cafe a shot that day due to a coupon code. We've been quite big on the whole coupon buying thing, seriously.

The cafe was mostly an al-fresco area. I have walked past this place a few times but it had never occured to me that it was the Charlie Brown Cafe. I guess the deco wasn't attractive enough amongst the other restaurants surrounding it.

Snoopy!

We only got ourselves a few munchies as we were still intending to grab a bite after that. The food wasn't fantastic and based on their food quality, I probably won't return. However, I read from some reviews that their desserts are not bad, so probably try them if you're there.

Looks are deceiving. I think this mushroom soup does not taste wonderful at all. The mushroom bits to me are too chunky and the white cream foam did not go well with the soup.

Cream of mushroom $3.80

Turkey Ham Sandwich $6.80
(Turkey ham, cream cheese, tomatoes and mixed lettuce)

Very mediocre sandwich as well. Could have done well with a slight sauce.

They do have very old-school Snoopy books that were very reminiscent of childhood. Probably a better place to have a cuppa coffee or desserts and to chill out al-fresco style if the weather is good and breezy.
